Description

The Crown Steam EL-60 Electric Kettle is the perfect equipment for preparing soup, chili, pasta, and stew for guests. This self-generating, stationary kettle with 60 Gallon capacity makes it spacious enough to cook large batches of food. Stainless steel exterior and interior of the unit gives it strength and durability to ensure a lifelong performance. The double-wall interior with 2/3 lower steam jacket design allows better surface area for heat transfer so that the food can be cooked uniformly. This keeps the kettle safe from scorches and hot spots while speeding up cook time without using a lot of heat that increases efficiency and productivity. The jacket closure contains factory sealed distilled water. Its hemispherical style at the bottom ensures proper heat circulation.

The thermostat of the kettle ranges from 165°F to 285°F with a maximum pressure of 50psi featuring a perforated strainer along with a 2" draw-off valve for easily straining out stew and soup, leaving behind unnecessary food particles. Pilot light of the unit indicates the user that the machine is working, whereas the low water light alerts when it is time to refill the kettle and low water shut off stops the kettle when water level drops significantly. Pressure or vacuum gauge ensures appropriate water pressure required for cooking food. On top of the kettle, there is stainless steel, hinged cover to prevent the food from splashing out of the kettle. This equipment stands on a tri-leg stand for stability so that the kettle does not fall on the ground.
